Yoga = Great Body?

I have recently begun vinyasa yoga. It seems like the teachers I see doing it have great bodies (trim, long lean muscle mass). Can I devote my exercise program to serious yoga (and maybe some running as I love it too) to have a body like that? I can’t stand lifting weights, I get incredibly bored and running alone is making me too skinny!

    yes!
    yoga increases flexiblity and makes your muscles long and lean.
    add some cardio[30 minutes,3-5 times per week]
    youll have a bod liek scarlet johanson.

    also try pilates if you want to do more “hardcore” stuff haha

    Power Yoga does build some muscle and is considered to be resistance exercise (just like weight lifting). This will increase your muscle mass which will burn extra calories 24 hours per day. So there is definitely science to back it up.

    Here is a link to info about exercise.

    Yoga is NOT equal to great body.The word YOGA is derived from the root “YUJ” means Yoking or combining perfectly.Sariram(Body),Mind(Manas, Buddhi, Chittham,Ahamkaaram) and Aathma(Soul) are to be are perfectly tuned-it is known as Yoga.You read Saint sri Padhanjali’s Yoga Sutram-original text or an Authentic translation by a true Scholar.There are thousands of bogus “Upstarts”who have written books on Yoga(?!)without studying the subject from all the Original Texts.What you mean by the adjective “Vinyaasa”–First of all What is “Nyaasaa”-?How many “Nyaasaas” -Anga or Kara(Angushta/Dharjani/Madhyama/Anomica-Kanishta )- you know and perform,leave alone the “Visheshathaha” Nyaasa”=Vinyaasa.Do you know anything about- Vashat-Voushat-Hoom-Bhat etc before knowing “Vinyaasa”?
    In the posting Manas is missing.–so also after Madhyama-Anomica and Kanishta are missing
